Always stop here while in town! The food, service and drinks are consistently good. Lots of parking out front with some out back as well, lots of seating and a big front porch to be out of the weather.

Alright Yelpers. This is my first review of 2025. Yes I know I'm late to the party but I didn't want to just update on places I've reviewed already. I got a slow start to 2025 but I'm here now. We are spending some time in Ocean Shores this week and our first stop was the Porthole Pub Bar & Grill. This is an established place in the Shores with plenty of local clientele and visitors alike. It's done in a nautical theme with dark wood everywhere. They have a pool table, pull tabs, maybe darts, several large flatscreens, and it looks like they have a spot for a band. They feature a full bar and a full menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dinner menu featured food you would expect at a pub. It wasn't crowded so we sat where we wanted. I had the 3 piece fish & chips and Mrs. Billy D had chicken fried steak with sausage gravy on mashed potatoes. I think she might have to go in for a stent after finishing that off. The fish was beer battered and the cod was light and flaky. It wasn't greasy at all. The tartar was home made and if I had to knock something it would be that. It was mayonnaise based but lacked something. Maybe dill relish or something to tart it up a little. The service was prompt. Our server was the bartender too. She was friendly and efficient. We wanted for nothing. The food came out fast and we took our time eating and enjoying the vibe of the place. We might go back there before we go home but it will definitely be on our go-to list whenever we visit.

Visiting Ocean Shores for 2 days we stopped at the Porthole for breakfast. Wow! Really good breakfast. About the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Sausage links are delicious. Yesterday my eggs were wow. Today just eggs but definitely worth a stop when your in town. Would love to try a burger next.

The food is awesome! Gluten free options and kitchen staff is great! The server was a handsome younger guy and he was fantastic. The Porthole is a cozy and divey bar with excellent food! The food goes above and beyond dive bar expectations! Breakfast was just over but we saw some plates go out that looked AMAZING! Their fish and chips is honestly the best in Ocean Shores, and the prices are extremely fair! This is my new go to spot!

The Porthole Pub is a cute local restaurant in Ocean Shores, Washington. It's located around some other restaurants, with parking in the front and back. You seat yourself, and the place was pretty lively when I visited on a Wednesday morning for some breakfast. There's a full bar/pub with drinks, and a full menu with the classic breakfast, lunch and dinner options. As a vegan, the options in Ocean Shores can be pretty limited. I ordered a side of hashbrowns, and added veggies on top (onions, olives, tomatoes, peppers). I appreciated that the restaurant accommodated my special vegan order off the menu! The food was good, and the service was friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with the price, I paid under $15 for my vegan hashbrowns and coffee!
